New Story Brewing

Skyline views and crushable brews

Our favorite brewery serves smooth cervezas and dramatic sunsets. New Story debuted in 2025 and features drinkable lagers of the American, Mexican, Czech and Japanese variety. It also revived Elk Valley, an Oklahoma craft brewery that is now a New Story product. In the front yard, El Molino taqueria makes fresh chips and corn tortillas for tacos and quesadillas. For entertainment, check out the arcade games or regular events like sports watch parties. Go Thunder!

American Solera

Airy warehouse with pastel vibes

American Solera uses oak barrel aging to brew sour ales, its specialty. It was named 2016’s Best New Brewery in the U.S. and #2 in the world by RateBeer.com. Founder Chase Healey helped start award-winning Prairie Artisan Ales that is now owned and brewed elsewhere in the state. Due to Oklahoma law, this self-distributing brewery does not ship. Head to their spacious Pearl District facility formerly home to Bendmaster Inc. that bent pipes and tubes. American Solera shares a parking lot with Cabin Boys Brewery and is a stone’s throw from Marshall Brewing, allowing you to go on a three-brewery bender without moving your car.

Marshall Brewing Company

Beer pioneer backed by German tradition

Tulsa’s first production craft brewery started selling kegs in 2008. Founder Eric Marshall apprentice brewed in Germany, and his reverence for traditional styles is apparent in Marshall’s deep lineup of 24 rotating taps. You’ll often find their Atlas IPA served at restaurants around town. A revamped taproom opened in 2018 followed by a German-style biergarten out back.

NEFF Brewing

New Era of Fine Fermentations

Founder Jonathan Neff, a celiac, founded a brewery that not only spells his last name, but also serves artisan malts that are naturally gluten free. Beers are made with millet, quinoa, and buckwheat rice instead of barley, wheat, and rye. “Brewed for Everyone,” this is a rare production-scale gluten-free brewery. Standouts like the fruited sour golden ale Raspberry Pride and Belgian pale ale Ignition Switch have won top awards, even in nationwide competitions with gluten beers. Visit the taproom inside a former grocery warehouse now on the National Registry of Historic Places. It’s the only totally dedicated gluten-free facility in Oklahoma, allowing the gluten intolerant to dine and imbibe worry-free. Their fish and chips and onion rings are excellent!

Welltown Brewing

Spacious interior with stellar rooftop

A minimalist brick and wood interior spans two stories and includes an outdoor deck with downtown views. On Thirsty Thursdays every beer and seltzer on tap drops to just $2. Order chicken nuggets and fries at Nuggies downstairs. In colder months, outdoor “igloos” can host your group, but make a reservation since they’re popular.
